ROUTE 30 TIME TRIALS:

Can you beat the overall best time for the Route 30 Time Trial of 19:13, set in 1998?

The Route 30 Time Trial has a long history at West Hill, with the first official times dating back to 1978. The "out and back" route starts at the turnout off Route 30 in Brattleboro, near the intersection of Cedar Street and Route 30. The course runs north on Route 30 for approximately 4.6 miles and turns back at the Route 30 / Stickney Brook Road intersection. The total distance is approximately 9.3 miles.  The 2013 series will be run on Thursdays beginning June 6th at 6:00pm for four consecutive weeks, ending Juen 27th.

KURN HATTIN HILL CLIMB

Test yourself on our timed hill climb up the east side of the Kurn Hattin/Patch Road hill.  This 3.2 mile (5.18) km climb averages 4.5% (Category 3) grade, gaining 725 feet.  Started in 2008, the best measured time to date is 11:55 minutes.

The 2013 series begin Thursday, August 1st and will run for four consecutive Thursdays, ending August 22nd.  Start time is 6:00PM at the bottom of Kurn Hattin Road, adjacent to the Westminster New Cemetery.  For route information, go to http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/36422472#climbs.
